14 DAY TRIAL // A number of gamers who have bought the PlayStation 4 home console from Sony are reporting that they are having major issues with Error CE-34878-0 on the device, which seems to affect a variety of games and can result in everything from an unusable console to lost saved games.
The official Sony forums feature reports from a variety of sources that have been affected and they mention games like NBA 2K14, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.
Error CE-34878-0 generates issues that have no clear solutions and the community has suggested everything from deleting affected files to asking for a full replacement of the PS4.
Sony has not yet offered an official statement on the issues and it is not yet clear how many users are at the moment affected.
Previously, the company has said that some devices are affected by problems because of the shipping process and has pledged to replace them all.
