Sony has confirmed a wide array of details about the PlayStation 4 at its E3 2013 press conference, emphasizing that the next-gen console will support used (pre-owned games), won't have any extra fees, and won't require any online checks, unlike Microsoft's Xbox One.

The PlayStation 4 was revealed to the world a few minutes ago through official photos and, after presenting a few games, Sony addressed big lingering debates over its next-gen console.

Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 supports used games and that it doesn't require any extra fees, meaning after they buy the game disc, consumers can do anything they want with it.

What's more, unlike the Xbox One, the PS4 won't require any online checks and won't restrict gameplay when it's played offline.
