After seeing a sudden change in the terms of service for the PlayStation 4 and its games, Sony's Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed on Twitter that PS4 owners can, in fact, resell their own titles to others.

Sony's PS4 became quite popular this summer by promising that it won't impose any limitations and restrictions on reselling games or playing used copies on the console, as opposed to the Xbox One, which employed DRM and online checks at that time.

Earlier today, however, Sony pushed a new version of its software license agreement and terms of service, which explicitly forbids the resale of games as well as sharing or renting titles.

When asked by fans on Twitter about the new conditions, Sony's Shuhei Yoshida confirmed that PS4 owners will be able to resell their games.

Unfortunately, he didn't offer any details about the changed terms of service and what impact they might have in the future on PS4 owners.
