After a few rumors and lots of previous speculation, Sony has confirmed the official release date of the PlayStation 4 next-gen console, which is out on November 15, in North America, and November 29, in Europe.

The PlayStation 4 was revealed to the world in February, when Sony confirmed the new console and a few games for it. After that, the console received more details and, at E3 2013 in June, Sony actually revealed its design and showcased plenty of new details and games for it.

Now, at Gamescom 2013, the company has presented lots of new independent games for the PlayStation 4.

Besides them, however, the company also revealed a launch date for the next-gen console, which will be out in November. More specifically, the PS4 is coming to North America on November 15 and in Europe on November 29.

The price is still the same, 399 USD/EUR for the regular 500GB console bundle. What's more, each new customer can try out the PlayStation Plus subscription for 14 days.
