Sony has confirmed that it's going to release the PlayStation 4 in several Asian territories in December of 2013, including Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, or Singapore.

The PlayStation 4 is set to be released first in North America on November 14, in Europe, on November 29, and most recently it received a February 22, 2014 launch date for Japan.

Now, during its actual press conference from TGS 2013, Sony has confirmed that various Asian countries will receive the game earlier than Japan.

More specifically, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, and Malaysia will get the PlayStation 4 in December of 2013.

Other Asian countries will get the new console after December, probably in the first few months of 2014.

Various PS4 games, like Watch Dogs or Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag will be made available with Chinese or Korean subtitles.
