During its Gamescom press conference, Sony has announced that three of its biggest studios are the moment working on secret projects linked to the next-gen PlayStation 4 home console.

The list includes Sony Santa Monica, the team best known for its work on God of War; Naughty Dog, which claimed fame with the Uncharted series and recently impressed with The Last of Us; and Media Molecule, the team behind Little Big Planet.

Sony has not offered any hint on whether the teams are using their classic franchises for the PS4 or whether they are ready to deliver an entirely new set of game universes, VG247 informs.

The company also says that it currently has 33 launch window titles for the new console and that 15 of them are being created by the Sony Worldwide Studios.

The device will be available on November 15 in North America and in Europe, Latin America and Australia on November 29.
