Quite a lot of different services will be available on the next-gen console

Sony has just revealed a list of entertainment applications for the PlayStation 4 in PAL regions (Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Middle East), confirming that owners of the next-gen console won't require a PS Plus subscription to enjoy them online.

The PS4 is set to debut in Europe and other PAL regions on November 29, after already appearing in North America on November 15.

After hyping up the different array of games and features, Sony has now posted a list of the entertainment applications and services that will be available on the PS4 in the many different countries.

At launch, 18 services will be available, with another one coming on December 4. Sony promises that at least 20 more applications will be released from now until spring of 2014, including quite popular ones like TuneIn, Game One, Filmo TV, or Mubi.

All these apps can be downloaded and enjoyed without a PS Plus subscription, unlike the Xbox One which requires a Gold membership to access similar entertainment services.
