It seems that during Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, a three-day event taking place this week, Sony has already invited all IT editors to see its new born PlayStation 3. The press conference was, as a matter of
fact, only a teaser, as we expected given our experience regarding marketing strategies.

As a result, we don't know much more than we did before. Just that the PS3 design is so similar to the previous PS2, that it dazzled our minds, thinking that it is a joke, and that the most expected console on the market will be light, featuring Bluetooth and six axis movement detection.
The estimated price for the upcoming two console models are $499 and $599.

However, Sony still controls the console market with its PlayStation 2, as the company diminished the price for the famous console and sold, until now, more than 100 million units, compared to 24 million Xboxes and 21 million Nintendo GameCubes.

Another press conference was held in the meantime, during which Square-Enix announced three whole Final Fantasy XIIIs for the PS3 and mobile phones. We are hoping for more information regarding both PS3 and the latest versions of Final Fantasy XIII.
