I guess that this is the question on everybody's lips. Which one is sexier? The Nintendo Wii or the PS3? Usatoday has the answer as they write a piece on PS3 and Wii in their tech/gaming column.

In their article, they analyze the PS3 and Wii launched, and according to them, the winner of the next-gen war might be the Wii, even if the Sony PlayStation 3 is pricier and sexier. Usatoday mentions that they both sold out in a matter of hours on day one of their launch, regardless the steeper price of the PS3.

According to American Technology Research analyst P.J. McNealy, Sony estimates that they have shipped between 125,000 and 175,000 PS3s since the launch, while Nintendo just announced that they managed to sell over 600,000 units in just eight days of the Wii launch.

McNealy also says that the Nintendo Wii launch was better than expected, while the PS3 launch was disappointing. He also makes a fictional ranking on who won this holiday season, with Microsoft on the first spot, Nintendo second and Sony trailing in at number 3.

A research company which monitored Web activity related to both next-gen consoles, New Media Strategy, revealed that many gave up on wanting a PS3 and reoriented themselves towards a Wii, because the Nintendo systems were more accessible.

When looking at the overall picture, you have to admit that the Nintendo Wii seems much better these days, given the fact that they are more available and that they have much more first party titles available, in comparison with the PS3 which has only a few titles out, and more being delayed as each day passes by.
