Hardware creator and video game publisher Sony says that the titles that will be launched on the coming PlayStation 4 home console will have prices that range from free to 60 dollars or Euro, the same as for the current generation of devices from the company.

VG247 quotes Jack Tretton, the chief executive officer and president of Sony, saying that, “I think people are willing to pay if they see value there and I think there’s more choice than ever before for consumers.”

He adds, “We’re going to welcome free-to-play models; games from 99 cents up to those $60 games.”

Tretton explains that the variety of experience will be one of the main advantages of the PlayStation 4 because it will allow it to capture the attention of a large number of potential players.

The device is expected to arrive before Christmas.
