Legacy Interactive, a developer and publisher of casual games, has just announced its new iPhone title, The Lost Cases of 221B Baker St. This doesn't comes as a surprise, as the company is also known for its Hollywood Hits series of games Law & Order, Murder She Wrote, Ghost Whisperer, Criminal Minds, and House M.D. Legacy. The new game is the latest title in its series of Sherlock Holmes-themed mystery games.

The Lost Cases of 221B Baker St. lets players take control of Sherlock Holmes and Watson characters and solve various mysteries throughout the game. The game uses a mixture of addictive Hidden Object gameplay and deductive reasoning. The game play features: beautifully detailed graphics, 20 wily suspects, 11 different motives, 20 unique weapons, 10 locations to search for evidence, and large hidden objects which are fun to find.

Players will have to solve each case by visiting different rooms inside a mansion, and finding clues. After finding all the clues in a room for a case, you will have to decide who committed the crime, which weapon they used, and what their motive was. The puzzles are randomly generated, which means players will rarely get the same puzzle twice. That will offer players endless hours of gameplay and high replay value.

If you're looking for a mentally challenging game, I strongly suggest trying The Lost Cases of 221B Baker St. Besides the obvious visual comprehension skills associated with a hidden object game, the actual mystery solving involves both reading comprehension and reasoning skills. Combined with its high replayability and strong artwork, the game is surely to hook you for lots of hours.

The Lost Cases of 221B Baker St. is now available on iTunes and is retailing for $1.99.
