So, is this you or are they overreacting just a little bit...?

How would you like to play World of Warcraft with an Xbox 360 controller, sitting back in your chair watching the action on your big LCD monitor with not a tense muscle in your body? Blue Orb has just made available this nifty solution for PC gamers and MMO fans especially, allowing them to play games such as WoW with a controller. All you have to do is download the free software and have a controller ready to
use.

"SwitchBlade is free cutting-edge software that brings a fully configured game controller experience to the most popular PC games, beginning with World of Warcraft. SwitchBlade provides a console gaming experience for the gamer looking for a new way to play the most popular online PC games," says Blue Orb

All you need is a Wired or Wireless Xbox 360 Controller and if you play with a Wireless controller, you will need a Wireless Game Receiver for Windows. System requirements for SwitchBlade look a little something like this:

Windows XP Operating System with SP2
DirectX 9.0c
50 MB of Hard Disk Space (if not already installed - 200 MB for .NET 2.0 and DirectX)
An Active World of Warcraft Account or Trial Account (since SwitchBlade is making its debut in symbiosis with Blizzard's popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft)

Long hours of WoW gameplay can render you numb, or leave you with an aching back or a stiff neck, from sitting in a straight position in front of the monitor using a mouse-and-keyboard control configuration. You should find yourself in the image to the top left side of this article (click to enlarge).

The second picture doesn't lie either, but of course, that guy isn't exactly the hardcore gamer doing the quest of his life. Nevertheless, playing WoW with a gamepad should prove more satisfactory with easier-to-use controls, right at your fingertips. Does SwitchBlade support rumble too...? Anyway, HERE's where you can download the software yourself. Have fun!
