Sport the uniform of Master Chief

Looks like the guys over at Bungie are having difficulties finding a real beta tester for Halo 3, as they have placed a job listing on their official website. So, if you have some background in game testing, live in the Puget Sound area and are a Halo freak, you could apply for a Halo 3 tester position.

By the looks of it, Bungie wants an intelligent, driven and energetic individual to "sport the uniform of the Master Chief". Take a look at the job requirements to see if you qualify:

- Gaming Experience; - A testing background is highly suggested; - Good communications skills; - Attention to detail; - Punctuality; - Independent trouble shooting and problem solving skills; - Experience with Microsoft Windows OS platforms and Microsoft Office applications; - Ability to work in a lab environment; - Ability to work closely with others in a team environment.

It would be a plus for you if you have some background in software testing as well as FPS gaming experience, Halo 1 and Halo2, both campaign and multiplayer.

Given the number of fanatic Halo players out there, I guess Bungie won't have much trouble finding a good tester. Keep in mind that testing a game is not the same thing as playing one. You have to be aware that testing is your job, and you need to find all the bugs and glitches in the game and report them back to the designers. With an eye out for bugs, maybe you won't enjoy shooting up brutes that much. It would have been nice if Bungie would have revealed how much will the testers get paid. I'm assuming that they will get something for their efforts on top of bragging to their buddies that they've played Halo 3.
