For those who can’t put the game down, whether they’re in the subway, on the bus, at home in front of their computer, or on a lunch break accompanied by their laptop, OS X Daily reader Josef was thoughtful enough to work up a keyboard shortcuts list for fellow fans of Rovio’s puzzle platformer.
As published by the aforementioned source, the keyboard shortcuts for Mac OS X are:
· Command+F – Windowed mode, or toggle between full screen and windowed mode · Scrollwheel / Two-fingered swipe – Zoom in with a swipe forward and zoom out with a swipe back, same affect with a scroll wheel · R – Restart the current level and zoom into the target pigs structures · S – Mute and unmute the game sounds · P – Pause · Escape – Toggle the sidebar menu · Type “open” on levels with a locked treasure chest to open them
Recently updated with 15 brand new levels and the ability to unlock a special stage, Angry Birds is one of today’s most popular puzzle video games.
Developed by Finnish development studio Rovio, Angry Birds has sold over 10 million copies since its release for Apple's iOS platforms. The title is also available for other touch-based smartphones.
Separate versions of the game are available for iPhone and iPad, with several free updates released to date.
A free Angry Birds game for iPhone and iPad was launched in January.
Rovio has bundled 12 brand new levels for iPhone and iPad gamers alike in two new Angry Birds 1.0 releases - Angry Birds Free, and Angry Birds Free HD.
The new levels are broken down in four new mini episodes. The “Free” version of Angry Birds dumps Chillingo’s Crystal in favor of Apple’s Game Center integration.
The game also links to Angry Birds Seasons and plush toys.
