Atsushi Inaba, a game director at Platinum Games, says that his team would be interested in continuing to collaborate with Kojima Productions after the launch of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

The developer tells the Official Xbox Magazine that, “I really think I was able to see Raiden grow independently and strong as a character and as a man. To be part of that was an honor. Moving forward, if Kojima Productions feels that another Raiden game is needed I would love to be a part of making Raiden’s next growth.”

Yuki Korekado, a creative producer at Kojima Productions, says that the Metal Gear universe has more characters and stories that could become independent products.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is action focused and will be offered on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in late February 2013.
