Platinum Floor Got Pamela Anderson in Huge Debt

Former “Baywatch” bombshell Pamela Anderson is in troubled waters right now, being sued by a construction company and a moving firm for outstanding bills. She’s also behind with her taxes, reports say, but it’s the bills that have literally brought her on the verge of financial ruin. In a new televised interview, Anderson explains her debt by saying she wanted a pool with platinum tiles and she got it, The Sun informs.

Although she still won’t admit that she’s on the verge of bankruptcy, Pamela reveals in the new interview that she has just recently realized she can’t possibly afford the things she ordered to have done around her Malibu mansion. Among them is also a pool with platinum tiles, which are “expensive,” as the blonde star puts it and that might have well got her in so much debt. Because of this, she’ll be selling the mansion the moment it’s done.

“Blonde bombshell Pamela Anderson has told how she plunged £3million in debt creating her dream home – after taking a shine to a platinum floor. The former Baywatch star said she sobs whenever she visits the half-renovated house.” The Sun writes of the upcoming documentary “Pamela Anderson: At Home with Joe,” shot with ex-EastEnder Joe Swash. What’s even worse, the star reveals, is that she’s not even certain whether she’ll be willing to pay the outstanding bills and have the renovation work completed.

“I’m tiling the floor with platinum – that’s expensive.” Anderson says of the pool. Expensive and not a very smart investment in recession, the star further explains, adding she’ll be selling the mansion the moment construction is over. “I’m going to sell it. I hate it. People commit suicide over constructions. Relationships break down over constructions and I can see why. It rips your heart out.” Anderson adds.

Pamela Anderson is currently living in a trailer park with her boyfriend and her two kids. The plan was to live there only for the duration of the renovation work, but it certainly looks like it will be for longer, what with the lawsuit threatening her with foreclosure and her inability to meet deadlines for payments to contractors.
