PopCap Games has confirmed that its next big title, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, will run at 900p and 60fps on the Xbox One console from Microsoft.

The Xbox One has been losing pretty badly to the PS4 and industry standards in terms of video game performance, with the latest being Thief, which runs at a lower resolution on the Xbox One than on the PS4.

Now, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare Producer Brian Lindley has confirmed to TechnoBuffalo that the new game will run at 900p and 60fps on the Xbox One platform, falling short of the gold standard of 1080p and 60fps.

The game will appear next week for the Xbox One as well as for the Xbox 360, and a PC edition is set to launch at a later point in time.
