PopCap Games has confirmed a few more things about the upcoming Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare downloadable content, emphasizing that the add-ons will bring traditional third-person shooter content, but with a Plants vs. Zombies spin.

Garden Warfare was finally released earlier this week on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms, delivering a great third-person shooter experience that allowed players to control either Plants or Zombies and go up against each other in competitive matches, or work together in cooperative ones.

PopCap already emphasized that DLC will appear for the game and that all of it will be free in order to keep things balanced.

Now, the studio's Gary Clay, the senior franchise marketing manager, has talked with Digital Spy about the new content, saying that, while nothing's been announced just yet, the team is listening to feedback from the community.

In terms of actual content, Clay said that it will be "Anything you'd expect from a third-person shooter. Expect a big PvZ spin on everything, don't expect the standard elements you'd get from most games. It'll be focused on humor and things that are very different."

Garden Warfare is also expected to launch on the PC platform in the near future, but no date is known just yet.
