EA has finally released the long-awaited Plants vs Zombies 2 for Android on Google Play Store. The game was initially launched on iOS platform and then made available to Android users in Australia and New Zealand.

It's been almost a month since only a few Android enthusiasts could download the game and Plants vs Zombies 2 has finally been unleashed on Google Play and made available for everyone.

Plants vs Zombies 2 for Android comes with the same features as the iOS version, so expect lots of fun for loads of hours.

Also, developers promise new plants, new zombies via free updates, but also new levels that will be delivered regularly.

Keep in mind that the game requires Android 2.3 Gingerbread, ARMv7 1GHz or higher and 1 GB of RAM in order to run optimally. Developers also claim that features may vary by mobile device.

You can now download Plants vs Zombies 2 for Android 1.5.252752 for free via Google Play store. As mentioned earlier, the game should be fully compatible with devices powered by Android 2.3 and up.

It's also worth mentioning that while the game is free, it comes with in-app purchases so if you don't plan on spending real money you should disable this feature.
