14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Sony Online Entertainment working on Planetside 2 announces that a new update for the game has gone live, designed to introduce a redesigned version of the Amerish continent with new gameplay mechanics.
Gamers can enjoy a new Lattice system, battle for six new outposts and explore an updated list of facilities.
Matt Higby, the creative director working on Planetside 2, states, "As with Esamir and Indar, we added the Lattice system, which links the bases together into battle lanes that help to create more cohesive flow of massive scale battles."
The MMO has also received a performance pass which means that all gamers involved should experience a faster and more stable experience.
Sony Online Entertainment has also improved the road network and there are a number of other changes that players need to discover by simply logging in to explore Amerish in Planetside 2.
