14 DAY TRIAL // Nvidia seems to be determined to get its PhysX technology into as many video games as possible and Planetside 2, the MMO shooter from Sony Online Entertainment, is the most recent game to benefit from its features.
The two companies are releasing a trailer designed to show off how particle effects and environments are affected by the Nvidia technology, with engineers commenting on the changes.
The Nvidia team states, “PhysX effects that increase the realism and fidelity of several game elements, adding to the spectacle and drawing you deeper into the action. Particle PhysX effects provide a more immersive experience for the game by adding particles that collide with the environment and litter the environment during battles.”
Sony Online Entertainment has long-term plans to add more content to Planetside 2 and that might include new graphical enhancements.
