Planetside 2 Offers Triple Station Cash on Friday Only

The development team at Sony Online Entertainment is giving all Planetside 2 players a chance to get triple the Station Cash for the game during Friday, in a promotion that boss John Smedley is linking to the Mayan predicted end of the world.

The official Twitter account reads: “Our master plan is to take your money the day before the world ends. That’s how we roll. We’re spending it on booze for our end of the world party. You’re invited.”

Any interested gamer needs to buy Station Cash either from the MMO or using the pre-paid cards from Sony Online Entertainment.

The promotion is active from 12:01 AM Pacific Daylight Time to 11:59 PM on Friday, December 21.

Planetside 2 is entirely free-to-play and Station Cash is used to open up additional options and items.
