Video game developer Uber Entertainment says that its strategy title Planetary Annihilation will enter alpha stage on June 7, allowing those who backed the project at certain tiers via Kickstarter to instantly begin playing the game.

Developers are cautioning the fan base about the fact that the experience will not reflect the quality of the final video game.

Planetary Annihilation is set to stay in alpha all through the summer and a beta stage for the strategy game will be offered to a wider number of players between September and November.

Final launch is expected to take place before the end of 2013.

Alpha will take place using the servers of Uber Entertainment, but the final version of the game will use Valve’s Steam for multiplayer.

Planetary Annihilation will include battles that rage across entire worlds.
