A new project from inXile entertainment, built in the tradition of Planescape: Torment, will be launched on multiple platforms, including Linux.

Torment: Tides of Numenera will be a classic RPG set in the world of Monte Cook’s new tabletop experience, Numenera. According to the developers, the new game will continue the legacy of Planescape: Torment, a highly acclaimed RPG that is regarded as a corner stone in the genre.

So far, the game is ranked amongst the most successful Kickstarter projects and inXile entertainment managed to raise the required amount in less than a day. With 29 days left on the clock, they still have to fulfill a lot of expectations.

Torment: Tides of Numenera is built on the Unity Engine and it will be launched on Linux, PC, and Mac OS.

If you are interested in this project and you want to back them up, you should visit the official Torment: Tides of Numenera Kickstarter website.
