A plane has slipped onto a grass patch at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago on Wednesday.

A video shot with a camera phone by a contractor working on another plane captures the moment in which the plane is stationed on the grass.

Bill Kinsley, employed by Panasonic, described that the aircraft "got too close to the grass and his main wheel is about halfway in the mud."

The left main landing gear tire was stuck in the mud after a maneuver performed during heavy rain and wind.

The nose gear of the aircraft ended up in the grass and passengers felt the airplane slant a bit and slightly swerve.

Fire department crews were there to get passengers and personnel out using ladders and nobody was injured. Travelers were transported to the terminal with shuttle buses.

NBC Chicago added that the plane was pulled off the runway at 10:30 a.m. and it was transported to a hangar.
