PlanPlus for Outlook v5 Adds BlackBerry Support

New PlanPlus applications for BlackBerry include the FranklinCovey Prioritized Task List, Master Task List and Daily Notes

FranklinCovey announced that PlanPlus for Outlook v5, its planning and information management application, now includes applications for BlackBerry smartphones. The new release

allows the FranklinCovey Prioritized Task List, Master Task List and Daily Notes to be synchronized to a BlackBerry device, in addition to Pocket PCs and Palm OS devices. Other enhancements brought by the new version include a redesigned Daily Task Management module, new printing enhancements, and more.

For Windows Mobile Pocket PC users, the new release adds several Windows Mobile 5/6 compatible applications such as Mission/Values, Goals, and Compass with a Role builder. A full version of Pocket Informant for the Pocket PC is also included with the purchase of PlanPlus for Outlook v.5.

For Palm OS users PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook v5 provides synchronization functionality, as well as the possibility to utilize their Prioritized Task List, Master Task List, Daily Notes, Projects, Mission/Values, Goals and Compass and Roles applications on the Palm device.

PlanPlus for Outlook v5 has been redesigned for faster and easier integration with Outlook. Customers can customize the Home Page according to their preference with adjustable window panes and the ability to view multiple calendars. The new user interface allows customers the ability to view tasks or projects, appointments and notes or email modules on a single screen.

The new version also features a robust daily task management module. Customers can use Quick Prioritize to prioritize their tasks by importance using drag-and-drop functionality. Quick Prioritize now gives customers full editing capability for tasks, plus the ability to change task status and the ability to add, delete or move tasks to a future day. The completely redesigned printing module now allows PlanPlus and Outlook data to be printed in all four FranklinCovey planning page sizes.

The Project Manager allows customers the ability to manage basic projects and track project tasks from within an interface that is directly integrated with the FranklinCovey Prioritized Task List. The Project Manager allows the easy creation of project reports; and also allows customers to assign tasks to others using a Microsoft Exchange Server.

PlanPlus for Outlook v5 is compatible with Windows XP and Windows Vista, Microsoft Outlook 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007. The application can be purchased for a price of $99.95.
