14 DAY TRIAL // Plague Inc. is a strategy game that made its debut on PC, Android and iOS platforms quite a while ago. Developed by Ndemic Creations, the game has received overwhelmingly positive reviews on all three platforms.
Even though the PC game is still in early access, developers have found the time to launch a new version of their Plague Inc. game on a different platform. Beginning this week, Windows Phone users will be able to download and play Plague Inc. via Windows Phone Store.
The game mixes strategy and simulation elements, and features innovative gameplay: “Plague Inc. is a unique mix of high strategy and terrifyingly realistic simulation.
Your pathogen has just infected 'Patient Zero.' Now you must bring about the end of human history by evolving a deadly, global Plague whilst adapting against everything humanity can do to defend itself.”
A stellar game arrives on Windows Phone
The game features highly detailed, hyper-realistic world with advanced AI (outbreak management, as well as comprehensive in-game help and tutorial system.
There are 12 different disease types in the game with different strategies to master. Also, full Save/Load functionality is included as well.
Plague Inc. has been localized in English, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, French, Japanese, Korean and Russian, but developers promised that additional languages will be added soon.
You can now download Plague Inc. for Windows Phone for $0.99 via Windows Phone Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8.1 and up.
Keep in mind that the game doesn't support the native resolutions of all Lumia smartphones, but other than that players shouldn't have any issues while playing Plague Inc.
On a side note, Ndemic Creations is rumored to bring Plague Inc. to Xbox One as well, but there is no info on when exactly the game will be available yet.
