Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez release their collaboration song for the World Cup in Rio

The song that was announced some weeks ago has finally been released in its entirety and it's a collaboration between Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez, with English, Spanish, and Portuguese lyrics. Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte is also featured on the track.

The song is called “We Are One (Ole Ola)” and it's going to be performed live at the World Cup opening Ceremony taking place in Rio on June 12. It's proving to be an early success, with over 2 million views on YouTube at the moment, despite the fact that it's been online for a short time.

Pitbull, a co-writer on the song, has said that “I'm honored to join Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte at the FIFA World Cup to bring the world together.” He also added that “I truly believe that this great game and the power of music will help unify us, because we are best when we are one.”

This is not the only official World Cup song. Sony has announced that there is going to be another World Cup Anthem performed by Avicii, Carlos Santana, and Wyclef Jean in collaboration with local singer Alexandre Pires called “Dar Um Jeito (We Will Find a Way).”

Take a listen and let me know what you think. Is this a hit or a miss?
