The South-African judge in the Oscar Pistorius case is calling out the media for making evidence that will be presented in court prior to it being brought forward.

As I wrote yesterday, the athlete was set to appear in a hearing today in the murder case of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.

The "Blade Runner" has asked for a postponement and he has been granted one. According to the Daily Star, his next court date has been set for August 19.

"It appears there is a trial by media,” Judge Daniel Thulare complains, asking media outlets to "preserve the sanctity of the fountains of justice."

However, the trial will carry on without a jury, in accordance with the country's laws. The judge was referring to leaked photos of the crime scene which have showed up online.
