2.1 stereo sound system shaped like a sailboat?

Now, what could I say about a 2.1 sound system that looks like a sailboat? I really don't know...the idea is pretty wacky and placing transducers in objects that have absolutely nothing to do with sound reproduction looks like the kind of slightly twisted fun I'd like. But on the other hand we're talking functionality

and functional design.

With the FS-701SW from Nexspeaker, things are exactly this way: there we have a sailboat, with two thin, paper-like sails, looking like ready to float away. Nevermind the dreams about floating sound, because it will not float; instead, you (not me, I won't touch this) are supposed to find a neat place on your desktop and install this boat, connect it to your PC and start rocking... or not?

The Nexspeaker FS-701SW claims a 15W subwoofer, installed just below the main deck and another 15W split between the two sails; perfect until now, 30W RMS should make the pencils on your table really rumble. But where does the proper 2 in 2.1 come in? Simply orienting the two sails in opposing directions will not result in too much of a stereo sonic deployment but rather in a bipolar sound field that will be diffuse and slightly stereo or monopolar, precise and mono.

Thinking about the Nexspeaker FS-701SW as a present could do...especially if you're about to give this soundboat (can I call it this way?) to someone who already has a serious sound system at home or at work so he or she will not have to rely on actually playing some sound through it. For $60 bucks it may be worth the fun...but when the Nexspeaker guys will build the sound submarine, this boat will not be quite useful... especially when launching death metal torpedoes at it...
