Just as RIAA, MPAA and other intellectual property watchdogs in the industry are banging their heads against the keyboards in a desperate attempt at cutting down piracy in the entertainment industry, Aleratec shows
off its ultimate duplication machine.

The new device is called the 1:3 Copy Cruiser Blu LS and is comprised of three LightScribe-enabled Blu-Ray recorders stacked into a single unit. The disk publisher has three 6x, SATA Blu-ray drives that can simultaneously produce up to 3 DVD or CD LightScribe labels or up to 3 Blu-ray, DVD or CD disc copies in record time. The Copy Cruser can also support eSATA connections to ensure stable and constant data transfer rates while duplicating or burning in LightScribe labels.

Should your computer not come with an eSATA connection, don't worry, a dual channel eSATA host adapter is shipping for free with the 1:3 Copy Cruser device.

"Our development of the Aleratec Blu-ray 1:3 Copy Cruiser Blu LS is in direct response to the growing demand for the higher capacities required for high definition video quality. With 6x LightScribe enabled Blu-ray recorders, the Aleratec 1:3 Copy Cruiser Blu LS uses the highest speed Blu-ray recording technology and it will also produce direct to disc DVD and CD LightScribe labels," stated Perry Solomon, Aleratec President and CEO.

The LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling allows the user to burn in monochrome labels on specially coated LightScribe compliant media, using the Aleratec Disc Publishing Software Suite. The laser-etched LightScribe labels are used to create professional-looking CDs and DVDs, and is an excellent substitute for the common marker.

"Combining the latest Blu-ray drive technology with LightScribe's in-drive capabilities, Aleratec is introducing another disc publishing first," said Kent Henscheid, LightScribe Marketing Manager.

The data duplicator can work with 50GB capacity double layer BD media, that can be recorded at 6x speeds. The device is an efficient backup solution, that lets the user move large amounts of data in a short time. The 1:3 Copy Cruiser Blu LS is available immediately for as much as $3,199.
