A new version of an older concept

Ojom has just announced the launch of Cubes, a new puzzle game for mobile phone users. The game manages to provide an intense gaming experience to those who enjoy this type of challenges.

The game is based on the popular and rather old concept of falling 3D blocks. The cubes are placed on the sea bed in order to form a block. Interestingly enough, behind this game format there is also a storyline.

Actually, the specific theme is built only with the help of graphics and design elements. Cubes depicts the times of skullduggery and piracy, when a terrible pirate frightened all lands in sight. In these terrible times, the player is in search for a hidden treasure which lies on the bottom of a sea. In order to find it, he must drop sets of 3D blocks on the sea bed in order to create a block.

Just as in older versions of Tetris, once you manage to line up a certain number of blocks in the correct sequence, they explode and clear the space for adding even more cubes in that space. Moreover, bonus points are grated each time this happens, bringing the treasure even closer to the player.

"Love it or loathe it but the block style format was the first type of game that had universal appeal, it is such a simple format to understand and it can be played by anyone from your best friend to your parents. This is a fun and addictive game that will appeal to casual gamers and mobile users that have a passion for pirates and searching for buried treasure", said Marc Bu?e, Channel Manager, of Ojom GmbH.

Cube is now available for purchase from operator portals across Europe. The price that it will be available for has not been specified yet.
