A new 2-in-1 device, called the Pipo W1 will grace the market in the upcoming months. Like many before it, this is a Windows 8 tablet which can be fitted with a Surface-style keyboard to provide the laptop experience some of us crave, when using a slate.

The hybrid has a 10.1-inch IPS screen with a decent resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and abides by the current standards in chip architecture by sporting an Intel Atom Z3740D processor (from the Bay Trail family) under the hood, combined with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD Graphics, as Padhz notes.

Pipo can be fitted with either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. Moreover, the hybrid brings dual cameras (5MP on the back and 2MP in front), Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, microHD and HDMI out.

There’s no word when the device actually hits the market, but when it does, it will sell for $399 / €293.
