Pioneer has released two new firmware versions targeted at some of its DJ controllers. Specifically speaking, the producer has outed the 1.08 package for the DDJ-WEGO device, and the 1.40 version for the DDJ-ERGO and ERGO Limited controllers.

To install the new firmware, first of all, connect the device to a computer via a USB cable and power on the DJ controller. Within the downloadable archive you will find a .jar or .exe file, depending on whether WEGO or ERGO device is updated.

When you run the file, a version information dialog appears, and you must click “Start” for the update process to initiate (if the current version isn’t the same with the latest version displayed).

Until the process completes, make sure that no interruptions, such as disconnecting the USB cable or powering off one of the devices, interfere with the upgrade. If so, this could result in an update crash, and, therefore, device malfunction.

So, if you consider updating the device’s firmware version, choose from the list below the link that best describes your DJ controller.
