The products targeted by this update are DJM-900NXS, DJM-900SRT, and XDJ-AERO

Pioneer has recently released new drivers for its DJM-900NXS (both the simple version and its Platinum Edition), DJM-900SRT mixers, and XDJ-AERO DJ controllers. The new builds come with no impressive changes. On the contrary, the release notes mention only added support for Windows 8.1.

The installation is simple. All you need to do is download the Pioneer DJ controller driver for the product you wish to update, run the executable, and follow the instructions from the setup wizard.

Some features that caught my interest are XDJ-AERO's ability to wirelessly access tracks and music stored on your smartphone via the Rekordbox app or the frequency remix on the DJM-900NXS and DJM-900SRT, which allows you to select which frequencies are “in the mix” via a seven-band touchscreen crossfader.

Not to be ignored is the design of these products. Maybe they look like regular mixers at first glance, but once you turn them on and the lights come up, it becomes obvious why so many DJs pick these products.

Get the latest drivers for Pioneer's mixers and DJ controller, install the one for your device, and stay “updated one minute ago.”
