Pioneer, like everyone else on the audio market, sometimes launches a single product and other times releases a whole range of devices.

This is one of the latter events. The company has introduced the DJ80X, S-DJ60X, S-DJ50X and S-DJ50X-W speakers which, together, are known as the S-DJ series.

The first three are colored black, the last one is white (hence the W at the end of the name).

The newcomers have XLR, TRS and RCA inputs (makes them compatible with portable devices, PCs, DJ equipment, etc.) and an Auto Standby mode that turns them off when input signal stays dead for over 25 minutes.

That said, the woofers are made with aramid fiber cones and soft dome tweeters infused in magnetic fluid, for extra sound quality.

Pioneer's new inventions even possess built-in equalization and driver sizes of five to eight inches.

The S-DJ80X, S-DJ60X and S-DJ50X/S-DJ50X-W will be available in September with suggested retail prices of $299 / €299, $239 / €239, and $179 / €179, respectively.
