Remember the BDXL Blu-ray disk format? That didn't at any point in time stop being a real thing.

Turns out that Pioneer definitely did not forget about it and, to prove it, made what it calls the world's smallest and lightest BD/DVD/CD portable burner supporting BDXL.

It measures 5.2 (W) x 0.55 (H) x 5.2 (D) inches (132.08 x 13.97 x 132.8 mm) and weighs 8.46 ounces (240 grams).

Just with the power from the USB connection, it can write both triple-layer BDXL disks of 100 GB and quad-layer disks of 128 GB.

In addition to that, the BDR-XD04, as the device is called, can scribe CDs, DVDs and regular Blu-ray disks.
