25-year-old Amanda Roman, of Dallas, already had about 200 pins selecting the perfect venue, dress, food and even nails color. She had planned the wedding without her even knowing it.
Since she had dreamed about having the wedding the day of the proposal, boyfriend Ryan Leak had to plan everything secretly. The hardest thing was not letting their friends and families blow his cover.
“I threatened their lives. I put them on a social media ban three days before the wedding in case she figured out everyone was in Miami,” he jokes in his Today interview.
He popped the question on their fifth anniversary of the day Leak asked out Roman. An interview with the happy couple is attached above this news blog.
