Some of the tracks included on Pink’s latest album, the best-selling “Funhouse,” which she released the year before last, were written when she was already having marital problems with Carey Hart and before a rather bitter split. After a few months apart, the two reconciled – so it was only befitting that she released a new version of her well-known single “Please Don’t Leave Me.”

While the first version focused on a very bitter relationship, one based on hate and co-dependency, this new one is so romantic and sweet it can’t but be described as “adorable,” as Ace Showbiz also points out. It shows Pink as a giantess on a quest for true love, who’s “auditioning” men for the part. Shot in black and white, the video shows men trying to impress Pink – and failing, until Hart himself, turned into a little person, comes in and steals her heart.

“While the old music video of ‘Please Don’t Leave Me’ focuses on the violent things happening between Pink and her on-screen boyfriend who tries to leave her, this new version is a romantic one. It apparently aims at showing that the pop singer has changed her tune after previously lashing out Carey Hart following their 2008 split,” Ace Showbiz notes. It also strives to prove that love knows no obstacles – and is certainly not related to physical appearance.

“Titled ‘Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour Version,’ the clip in fact focuses less on the tour. Instead, it follows ‘giantess’ Pink as she looks for love and finds it in a pint-sized Hart. After sharing laughs in several dates, they are finally engaged. While Pink proposed to Hart in real life, it is the motocross champ who asks the big question and presents a huge bling to Pink in the video. ‘Please Don’t Leave Me’ is one of the songs appearing in Pink’s fifth studio album ‘Funhouse’ which has hit the market since October 2008,” the aforementioned e-zine writes.

Below is the brand new video for Pink’s “Please Don’t Leave Me” in full. It’s terribly fun and incredibly sweet so there’s one more thing left to say about it: enjoy.
