With today's issue of Girl Talk

I guess few mobile users ever thought about receiving a Nokia smartphone for free, but apparently this is possible, as All About Symbian reports that pink Nokia 6630 handsets are given to all those who buy a Girl Talk magazine. What's the connection between Nokia and Girl Talk? We don't know, but we do know that the magazine is, obviously, for girls. Teenagers, more exactly, who can learn from GT's pages how to smile nicely to boys and how to wear bracelets and other made-for-girls accessories.

Now they can also learn how to use a smartphone, assuming they don't know yet, as Nokia 6630 handsets are wrapped together with today's issue of the girly British magazine. Sure, it's not a new-generation smartphone, as it's been around for several years, but it's still a free handset, and this fact could also make boys buy a Girl Talk (although the 6630 is kind of too pink).

When released, in 2004, Nokia 6630 was seen as one of the coolest smartphones on the market, as it came with a very nice look and advanced - for that time - functionality. The handset runs on Symbian OS 8.0 S60 2nd Edition, and packs a 176 x 208 pixels TFT display, email, Instant Messaging and Internet capabilities, Music player, Bluetooth and an 1.3 Megapixel camera.

Nokia 6630 was kind of expensive back in 2004, so those who wanted it but didn't have enough money can now get it for just the price of a magazine.

Free mobile devices are given away all the time, with various offers or contract agreements from operators, especially if we talk about phones that are not new anymore, so the fact that Nokia 6630 is also available for free is not really a surprise. However, don't blame us if this is just an April Fools' Day prank. As far as I know, the 6630 packed with Girl Talk could in fact be just plastic. Or made of pink candy. But at least, in the second case, you won't be left with a bitter taste.
