Although Nokia announced extra-color options for Lumia 800, it looks like the pink-themed variant has yet to make it to the market.

UK-based retailer Carphone Warehouse confirmed the availability of the pink version of Nokia Lumia 800 back in January, but the smartphone was on sale for a limited time.

However, that does not mean that Nokia completely gave up launching the pink Lumia 800. Today, the folks over at WMPoweruser have just been tipped on the appearance of the pink-themed of the Nokia Lumia 800 in Anna Vissi’s latest music video called Tiranniemai.

In fact, both the black and pink versions of the phone appear briefly in a few scenes. We’re not sure whether Nokia plans to launch the latter in Greece or the whole teaser was just to let Lumia fans know that they will be able to purchase the pink flavor of the Windows Phone device soon.

Also known as magenta, the pink Lumia 800 should be shipped with the latest version of Windows Phone 7.5 operating system, so no surprises here.

Unlike the Lumia 900, Nokia’s current flagship smartphone, that features a large 4.3-inch display, the Lumia 800 comes with a slightly smaller 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen.

Both handsets support the same 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 16 million colors and feature Nokia ClearBlack display technology. Corning Gorilla Glass coating for extra protection of the display is included as well.

Nokia fans expecting the pink-colored Lumia 800 should head over to the nearest Nokia Store for more details on the smartphone’s availability.

On a side note, the Finnish company confirmed that the first Lumia smartphone with PureView technology would be announced later this year, and that the first devices might even hit shelves by the end of the year. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter and check Anna Vissi’s music video below.
