14 DAY TRIAL // Singer Pink and husband Carey Hart are expecting their first child together, word in the blogosphere has it. An official announcement is still pending, though.
Sources close to the couple, who are now back together again after a brief separation in 2008, are telling Us Magazine that Pink is 12 weeks along and positively thrilled by the idea of becoming a mother.
“A source tells the new Us Weekly (on newsstands Wednesday) that the singer, 31, and husband Carey Hart, 35, are expecting their first child,” the mag writes.
An insider confirms the happy news, while also dishing some details about how excited the two are about it, since they believe it will also make them much stronger as a couple.
“She’s 12 weeks along. She wanted to do it between tours, when she has some time off,” the insider reveals for the aforementioned publication.
Apparently, though becoming a mom has been on her mind a lot in recent months, she was surprised by how soon it happened, the same unnamed but reliable insider says.
“Pink was determined to make the relationship solid. Now she’s really happy, and she’s excited she got pregnant so fast! She’ll be a brilliant mother,” says the spy.
Proof that their relationship is more solid than ever (if one was needed) is the fact that, in August this year, Pink released a brand new video for her single “Please Don’t Leave Me.”
While the original version showed the star and her male partner fighting and harming each other, the new one featured Carey and a gorgeous marriage proposal, in what has been deemed Pink’s most romantic and sweetest video to date.
Back to the pregnancy rumor, though, as noted above, an official announcement is still pending. If the above is accurate, Pink and Carey should probably issue a statement any day now – so make sure you keep an eye on this space for when (and if) they do.
