This is something I thought I would never see: Pink flashing her crotch in front of the cameras. Maybe she thought this whole tendency, of offering the paparazzi something to make all that waiting worth while, was a prerequisite to be considered a real star.
On the other hand, she is wearing not only panties, but also pantyhose, so that could mean that she meant it as a lesson for the likes of
Britney Spears,
Paris Hilton or
Lindsay Lohan: THIS is how you're supposed to dress if you're wearing a short skirt and especially if you plan to enter your car while not paying enough attention to how much you spread your legs.
If this had happened in any other week, I would have been like, 'What? Have these women no shame? How can she do that?', but I'm not going to go all prude now. As ironic as this may seem to many, seeing Pink spreading her legs and showing off her crotch is almost a welcome sight, especially after all the vagina pics we got from Britney this week.
It's sad and yet it's true. Were we to be in a more philosophical mood, we would ask ourselves where is this world going to, if we reached such a point as to be glad that we get to see a celebrity panty slip - with panties and all. And Britney did that single-handedly.
Believe it or not, you can blame her for that. She should learn her lesson, though: when you go out wearing a mini skirt or dress, make sure you never forget to take your underwear with you. It's not luxury (she can afford it, I presume), it's a necessity. And Pink knows that. Congrats to her!
