Samsung’s Galaxy S4 smartphone has landed in the UK in a new color version, namely Pink, and it is currently put up for pre-order through online retailer Phones 4u.

The handset will be available exclusively through this company, and it will be offered in early January next year, Pocket-lint reports.

The retailer also sells Black, Blue (also exclusive to it), and White variants of the smartphone, which brings the total number of models that users in the UK can grab to four.

Those who will have a look at the Pink Galaxy S4 model will see that the phone’s casing features a gold frame, and that Phones 4u offers it for free on 3G contract agreements starting at £33 ($54/€39) per month.

Those who would like to go for a 4G contract deal will have to pay a bit more for the smartphone, as it is free on deals starting at £38 ($62/€45) per month.

The Pink Galaxy S4 also comes with a special deal at Phones 4u, as the retailer added a free wireless speaker worth £120 ($196/€142) to the package for all those who will purchase the new model in January.

The new Galaxy S4 model comes to the market with exactly the same hardware specifications as the original version, starting with its 5-inch Super AMOLED display capable of delivering a Full HD resolution.

Furthermore, the phone sports a 1.9GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor inside, along with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB / 32GB / 64GB of internal memory options.

On the back, the Galaxy S4 packs a 13-megapixel camera with full HD video recording capabilities, paired with a front camera to enable video chatting while on the go.

The smartphone is currently receiving an update to the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system, and the Pink flavor might be launched in January with this platform release loaded on top right from the beginning.
