The Pinguy development team has just announced that Pinguy OS 13.10 Beta is now available for download.
Pinguy OS 13.10 Beta is based on Ubuntu 13.10 but, unlike the Canonical-developed OS, it uses GNOME 3.10.
According to the developer, the file manager Nautilus has been replaced with Nemo, Flash has been replaced with Windows Pipelight version, and the Gno-menu has been added.
The distribution is also using a very cool-looking dock application called Docky, which provides a unique look for an Ubuntu-based distribution.
A complete list of changes and improvements can be found in the official announcement. Download Pinguy OS 13.10 Beta right now from Softpedia.
Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
