ImmersiveTaille eliminates the transition to modern UI Start Screen

Windows 8 does not come with a proper Start Menu, but there is no shortage of third-party tools to cover this need. Most of them either bring back or imitate the old orb in Windows 7, but ImmersiveTaille (free) brings the modern Start screen in the new OS from Microsoft straight to the classical desktop.

It is a nifty application that turns the modern screen in Windows 8 into a strip and puts it on the Desktop, allowing you to scroll through all the tiles available.

ImmersiveTaille is flexible enough to allow you to change the location of the Start Screen to any of the screen edges or even make it full-screen and keep the taskbar available. Furthermore, it works in the background, you can configure it in no time and can start with Windows.
