I'm pretty sure that many of you have at least once fallen asleep on the couch or bed with the remote control under your head, only to wake up with a sore face and button marks all over your cheeks and nose (OK, maybe not that many of you went through such a situation, but it happened to me, so I'm pretty sure other people had went through such an “experience” as well). Anyway, if you do have this problem and you've always dreamed of a soft, smooth remote control you'd be able to lean your head against and feel utterly relaxed (while perhaps even changing some channels while you sleep), then you'll be quite glad to check out the Pillow Remote Control from Brookstone, a device that, as its name says it, is actually capable or controlling a variety of devices, while in the same time being quite soft and comfortable. Beside being manufactured from a soft, comfortable material, the Pillow Remote Control has databases containing codes for over 500 remote control devices and sports easy-to-click fabric buttons. The power-saving auto shutoff feature shuts off remote functions after 60 seconds of inactivity, while the remote also sports a wide-range transmitter with infrared LED built in and requires 2 AAA batteries in order to function properly. The only problem I foresee, as far as using such a remote control is concerned, is related to the possibility of accidentally pressing some buttons while you take a nap, which wouldn't that much of an issue, unless we're talking about the volume buttons (after all, you don't want to wake up to some shocklingly-loud audio, do you now?). Best of all, you won't have to worry about paying way too much for this thing, since Brookstone's only asking around 30 US dollars for it, which is a more than acceptable price point, given its overall features and level of comfort it provides.
