You might not know it, but Apple is already selling parts of what will ultimately become the iWatch in its online and retail stores. By simply endorsing these products, the company confirms that it is willing to deliver this functionality to its customers, and it’s hard to ignore the rumors about its upcoming revolutionary smart-watch.

One product sold and endorsed by Apple that is highly indicative of what the iWatch will do is the UP24 by Jawbone, an app-aided wristband that tracks your sleep, eating, and movement patterns using sensors, “so you can make better life choices.”

“The UP24 band syncs to the app via Bluetooth wireless so you can see your movement and sleep details. The app also provides insights, celebrates milestones, and challenges you to do more each day,” according to the description.

One of the much hyped features of the iWatch will be its ability to monitor your sleep patterns and give you guidance in case you need to get better sleep. UP24 does this already, plus it offers a smart alarm that gently wakes you up at just the right moment.

“Small and comfortable to wear all day and night, UP24 tracks hours slept, time to fall asleep, how many times you woke up, and more. Analyze your sleep patterns to understand what you can do to have a more restful night. And start each day right with the Smart Alarm, which gently wakes you up at the perfect moment in your sleep cycle.”

Apple’s iWatch is said to incorporate a vibrate function similar to the Smart Alarm feature on the UP24 band.

Not to mention that Apple has prepared a Healthbook app for iOS 8 that looks very much like the UP by Jawbone companion app, which logs all the data recorded by the band.

The Cupertino company also sells the Nike+ FuelBand through its stores, which also tracks how much and how intensely you move, with a focus on workouts. Nike+ FuelBand also uses a free app to let users extract the data.

The Jabra MOTION AE Bluetooth headset is also on the list of accessories on store.apple.com. It sports “the latest advanced technologies that enable it to intelligently adapt to your surroundings wherever you're using it with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod,” something we may also see on the iWatch.

These are just a few of the upcoming iWatch features that Apple already sells through its stores.
