Pidgin 2.10.2 Has Support for GNOME 3

Pidgin, an IM program which lets you log in to multiple chat networks simultaneously, has reached version 2.10.2.

Pidgin 2.10.2 has numerous fixes and improvements, especially for the GNOME 3 desktop environment.

Highlights of Pidgin 2.10.2:

· Compilation when using binutils 2.22 and new GDK pixbuf was fixed;
· Compilation of the M support for the GNOME3 Network dialog Xit protocol plugin with GLib 2.31 was fixed;
· Support for the GNOME3 Network dialog was added;
· Support for the GNOME3 Default Application dialog for configuring the Browser was added;
· New connection states and signals for NetworkManager 0.9+ are now supported;
· The autoaccept plugin will no longer reset the preference for unknown buddies to "Auto Reject" in certain cases.
