Pidgin, a chat program which lets you log in to multiple chat networks simultaneously, has reached version 2.10.1.

As usual there are a lot of fixes and changes for Pidgin. Most notable updates are: a fix compilation on OpenBSD, a fix for crashes that were caused  by validating strings in a few messages related to buddy list management, IPv6 fixes, and linking against GnuTLS is no longer an issues.

There are also a lot of other minor fixes like one for a problem that caused a memory leak when admitting UTF-8 text with a non-UTF-8 primary encoding, and another one  when receiving malformed voice and video requests.

A complete list of fixes and changes for Pidgin 2.10.1 are available on the official website.
